Strengths within myself as a student

So we were asked to post about 3 strengths that we posses as students for our English 115 class, and so as I thought about it, I couldn't think of a single strength that I believed I possessed.

And then...

I started working....

1) Notes

I have a tendency to love how different colors look when I take notes, in other to make them stand out. That is just something I have done for a while, I simply to like to write a note on the side and highlight the note. I don't know if its like an OCD thing or not but it bothers me when the highlighting isn't perfectly highlighted on the note, and so I keep trying to make it perfect, and in the end it turns out to look like a huge yellow mess that just doesn't help at all. So when I write the notes in different colors, I can actually focus on it and I don't even have to stop, I just grab a different pen and keep writing. Which helps, since I am so easily distracted.

2)Visualizing

I tend to learn better when I can visually see something or picture, many students do, its just easier to bring up a memory of you doing something, instead of simply reading it. I think of this as a strength, because I have a very vivid imagination, when I can read something, its like a movie running in my head, I can either visualize someone making the speech or the scene that is going on in the page.

3) I want to be someone when I grown up

This might not seem like a strenght, but I consider it to be one. I actually like to come to school and get some education. While I might not like the homework , I do like learning new things. Many in my family haven't gotten a complete education, if any. So having the ability to be able to get a degree is something I look forward to. Its not something many students have. Many come to school to simply socialize or because they are forced to, not becuse they have the will do do so.
